SECUDOS GmbH Head Office is in Holzwickede/Germany, adjacent to the Airport of Dortmund/Rhine-Ruhr Area. Since 2007 SECUDOS has also incorporated SECUDOS FAR EAST Pte.Ltd. in Singapore to take care of our Asia Pacific business.
Appliance-Hardware
The Appliance-Hardware is the base for an appliance’s functionality. The single components must be interconnected with one another to achieve an optimum result for a longtime usage. Elaborate test procedures, simulating different work environments, make sure that weak points are detected and eliminated pro-active. SECUDOS is a custom-oriented vendor and thus offering e.g. special appliance solutions which are dust- and waterproof while others are made for application in automatic teller machines.
Appliance-Software
SECUDOS co-operates over years with well-experienced software partners. SECUDOS likes to offer on demand ist own developed Linux operating system „DOMOS". This serves as background for a smooth communication between the specialized hardware and the partner software. As customers’ option SECUDOS equips the appliances with its own SDR-Technology. In case of failure SDR enables easily to recover the complete configurated appliance within minutes. New installations or multiple installation and software up- and downgrades with only one SDR-Stick are possible with this unique technology.
Appliance-Service
Certainly we offer an all-embracing service- and support concept. Moreover vendor’s guarantee SECUDOS offers several support agreements (so-called SupportPackages). On request SECUDOS delivers a cold standby unit (SupportPackage plus). This unit is a ready-to-run appliance for the worst case, when an appliance is default. The customer has nearly no breakdown times and is able to execute an RMA exchange without any timepressure and of course worldwide.
Appliance-Management (IPMI and SDR-Remote)
For most of the enterprise appliances SECUDOS offers IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) as an option. IPMI is a collection of standardized interfaces. IPMI is able to communicate with an outsourced processor via a serial connection or a local network. The interfaces are working independently from the operating system. An administration without running operating system thus is possible. IPMI offers more ways for maintenance in comparison to a conventional administration software. For instance the keys for power and reset can be enabled and disabled.
SECUDOS has also developed the SDR-Remote technology as low-price version for smaller appliances. Beside the general remote functions the recovery via SDR itself can be released from the distance, manpower on site is not necessary. Similar to IPMI SDR-Remote works without a running appliance operating system.
