ISL GmbH provides with ARP-GUARD a full-featured, well-proven solution to protect against unauthorized devices and internal attacks. ARP-GUARD closes a safety gap which usual safety systems such as firewalls, virus protection or intrusion detection systems do not cover.ARP-GUARD easily integrates in already existing IT security environments (firewalls, virus scanner, intrusion detection systems) and is highly scalable. ARP-GUARD works vendor independently and is tested with all well-known routers and managed switches. Equipment investments are not necessary, already existing infrastructure can be deployed!The use of ARP-GUARD provides some more essential features.
NETWORK ACCESS CONTROL
ARP-GUARD provides you with complete access control to your network. New devices which are connected to the network are detected in real-time. The user-defined determination of access and security policies gives you full control how to behave with unauthorized devices: ARP-GUARD fends off unauthorized hardware or dispaces it to a special VLAN. Even temporarily limited access authorizations are possible.
LAYER 2 IPS
ARP-GUARD protects against internal attacks. Internal attacks on Layer 2 (ARP-Poisoning, MAC-Flooding, IP-Spoofing etc.) are recognized, located and if desired fend off automatically. - Your data is protected against recording, deleting and manipulation. secret product developments and in-house passwords are save from unwanted access. The detection of IP spoofing prevents obtaining special rights by fraud. The localization of address conflicts adds an essential benefit for the quality management.
NETWORK MANAGEMENT
The central Network Management System offers a complete survey of all devices in your netzwork. The integrated adress management system detects, loggs and presents all allocations and modifications. Inventory lists are easy to attend with ARP-GUARD.
ENDPOINT SECURITY
The ARP-GUARD Endpoint Add-on inspects the security staus of each device connected to the network. ARP-GUARD denies access if it does not confirm to your secuity policy and provides a live status overview regarding virus protection and updates of all devices in your network - without client installation and OS-independent!
DOMOS and SDR
The ARP-GUARD Appliances will be delivered with pre-installed ARP-GUARD software. Installations (operating system, driver etc.) are not necessary. The complete configuration is done at the GUI (graphical user interface) by the SECUDOS own developped operating system. It enables the operation within 10-15 minutes. ARP-GUARD Appliances use the SDR technology from SECUDOS when the appliance is default, i.e. a recovery is executed within only a few minutes by USB stick.
